6000$ in my eyes is .... just a bit OVERBOARD with your first setup.I dont know how addicted you are or how much you wanan be a dj but id rather buy a tier mixer for my first setup so when i buy a better one i can appreciate it and tell the difference between sound and build quality and be really happy with it. But God Damn nice setup bro.Have fun with that

P.S: Remeber...if you ever get bored ship those things to me ;) ...along with your records that is.

Hello Keith,

Its really your first setup? You have already around 800 vinyls and you are buying your first setup now? :eyes:

Please gimme your opinion on your mixer (x92).

Thanks for all of the replies guys... yes it's really my first setup. Yes I really bought around 800 vinyls before ever owning a turntable. My setup took longer than expected to purchase but I'm glad I waited as long as I did. I will let you know how things are when I get all of my stuff.

Yeah, I hear he just got back from Ireland...................

Far out, only thing missing is some CDJ's, but thats still an AMAZING set-up.

What carts did you get? Don't think you listed them

Got Shure white labels and right.... no CDDJs for now... got FS 2.

If I had that many records and then got a setup, I wouldn't know which record to play and I bet you about 10 years down the line you are going to find records that are in your collection that have never been played.

Congrats with you setup! it sweeeeeet.

What business are you in that you can afford to spend so much on gear at one time? Or did you totally ruin your credit on your CC?

I hope your happy with FS2. Personally, I had FS and switched to SSL, and will never own another stanton product again.

Not great but not shabby.

I probably would have changed the last line to...

Not knowing which buttons to press to turn the whole lot on!!.... Priceless.. :)

Nice setup by the way..

I too went on a limb and bought some Technics 1210 MK3's along with a numark mixer.. however having splashed on the nice technics and owning 12 vinyls.. i am now broke. And hopefully will enjoy it. By which time i might then buy a Vestax mixer to move onto something new. But yeh i'm happy with my technics.

ps.. if i were you i'd just buy all the equipment for production as well! You might as well.. then you've got nothing else to do but get good at it.

I'm not taking the piss.
