I read all the way to the end, so I have to post...
Floorfiller, she said "I have plans, & I don't like sushi." It's not the kiss of doom (though it COULD be).
Wait around a week, then ask her again if she wants to go to happy hour somewhere nearby (NOT SUSHI). If she says no the second time--lay the heck off, you're on the verge of being creepy. If she says yes the second time--well, you know what to do.
A no to short notice sushi might not mean anything more than her having plans & not liking the raw fish. |
