View this Thread in Original format
Light The Fuse
OKay I have had a very slow sunday.
But I feel this needs to be done for the national democracy of trance in Australiasia.

The New American Miami sound - Markus Shultz styles - what are everyones thoughts on this.
Heres the poll, cast your vote.

So begin.

I DON'T like "McProg", as it has come to be know on tranceaddict. There are still some good progressive trance tracks, but most of the ASOT / Marcus Schulz / Anjunabeats prog is pretty poor in my opinion.
Renegade
Soulless, cookie-cutter wank imho.
gumble

i havent even heard any because i seldom listen to stuff cained by armin because i know every other dj in melbourne's already busy copying his style

what are some examples to be sure? is primer - everlast an example?
echosystm
meh, some of it is ok, but for the most part, it's crap :P

i dont understand how people who love
beautiful melodies and music can say
that they dont like the stuff that Markus
plays on his show..

Peter Matin - Simply Blue
Peter McCowan - Trailer Park Boy
Varian - Endless Desire
anything by Mark Otten
Markus Schulz tracks
Keo - Close Enough (Noel Sanger Remix)
Kalafut & Fygle - Lullaby (Tkac & Haverlik Mix)

but hey i guess everyone's different

A.J.
But you can have beautiful melodies without forfeiting originality and creativity.

ok maybe probspot style basslines have been cained a fair bit, but each producer has there own sound and own style? are you asking them to change it, or what exactly is your point to do with lack of creativity and originality?
