what would be your ideal venue in Toronto (GTA), if there were to be a massive (approx. 20,000+ ppl) held in the city?
- taking into consideration, sound/lighting, dimensions, size, accessibility, location, facilities, etc..

it would be nice to have an event that big in Toronto. |

my top 3 venues would be:
1. Downsview Airbase
reason: by far one of the largest open air venues that's located within the GTA. it's large, accessible, parking and by public transit and has shown that it can host large events in the past. there's almost no limit as to how many people can fit on the grounds. but personally i hav a slight partiality towards open air spaces when it comes to large parties.
2. National Trade Centre & Automotive Building
reason: world class facility, and the only thing that would come close to an Innercity'esque type venue. it looks sweet too :D
3. Metro Toronto Convention Centre (North Building)
reason: if you've been to the Auto Show you know what this building can deliver!

Skydome all the way!!!!
that would be the equivalent to us having our own 'Sensation' event.
everytime i drive past the dome after coming home from a nite at the club, i look at the size of that place, and i think..., only in europe. :(
to bad, becasue i don't see toronto getting a crowd large enough for a venue like that.
ps. i dont' know why ppl would want hte event at ACC over skydome, i don't like the setup they have for concerts, its pretty ty, at least from what i remember, and at skydome everyone could be on the floor, not in the stupid seating area. |

| I don't think the airbase would be that great. 20,000 people is not a large event at the airbase. 500,000 would be large. Only filling up 20,000 if you're lucky would feel far to empty. It's like renting out the KoolHaus for your 20 employee company party. Overkill and the dead space actually takes away from it. |

| Who would want to go to an open air venue in Toronto in the winter? There are only a few weeks during the summer where it'd be feasible. |
