Doode! You're a bird person too! I used to have lovebirds and they bred and bred. I used to hand feed the babies, and had baby Beeker, and Birdie, and Huey, Dewey and Louie, and then mommy became egg ridden and died. I have pics of my Beeker before his feathers came in. The first time he flew he flew to me.

I've owned 7 budgies in my entire life.. my mom let 6 of them go on accident! damn woman.
And one died when we taped inside a remote control car and launched him off some steps.. he had a heartattack :sadgreen: |

yea.. my mom liked them more than I did.. that was the problem... she'd let them fly around the house and forget about them.. open the door and voila... bye bye birdy. |

The Cockatiel is my mamas, She also had a budgie named Kiki and I had a black masked love bird named Chui (pronounced Chewy) This thing was sooo cute, he was the spitten mini image of a parrot, I loved that thing! One late night I heard this wierd loud thump noise from him, then heard him fluttering around in his cage, but it was covered, so I had no idea what he was doing. Instead of checking, I said "Chui hush! its 3 am!" (cuz he woulda listened right?? lol)
Turns out the thump was him, dead, falling to the bottom of the cage. The fluttering was him comin back alive and dying again, struggling to stay alive, cuz when I woke up, he was dead :sadgreen: |
