Aight, so not more then 10 minutes of being inside (thats after a 2 hour wait online), me and my boy are involved in a goddam bar fight in the gay rap/reggae/salsa room next door...I hadda punch a guy and my boy got slit above the eye w/ a flying shot glass....I love it! haha...Fuggin amazing, I've been goin to trance clubs for at least 4 years, never seen a fight in one, but as soon as you bring rap into the picture, you enter the zoo. Does anyone know why that is?? :mad:
Sasha was hot, it was my second time seein him, but Lavelle broke the mood, which was annoying. We left at six so i guess we missed the real trancy dance stuff. Outa 10, if it wasnt for the INSANE line to get in AND the bar fight, I would give it a 7, otherwise a 5 for me baby....I hope Sasha & Digweed have a better night...and please...Crobar...21+ |

Last night was THE best sober night I have had in a few months. :D My first time seeing Sasha, who rocked it... kept me dancing and I love the breakdowns. Dj Three did a great job gettin me nice and happy before Sasha too... and Lavelle blew my mind. It was my first time seeing him, too, and I've never heard anyone play like that before. I loved the rock and the U2 and I was buggin out when I heard that line that makes me freak outtt: "WE ALL LIVE AND DIE EEERR REERR IRRR IRR" :p I was in the perfect mood for that stuff... I had sooo much fun dancing to all that stuff I've never heard anyone play before... I never dance like that anymore, it brought back the good old days. Man, Lavelle took a beat, stomped on it, squared it and then divided it by 3, taped it back together and roasted it over a fire, and then shot it back at you at 200 mph... I thought it was nuts!
I can see how some thought he sucked cause he broke Sasha's rhythm, and yea, he did break it... but hey I had no problem with that, it was awesome and I loved them both equally. The crowd was ok, considering... I'd say I'm one of the better behaved under 21's there :D Shouts to all! *mwa* Sal try to look a little happier sometimes :stongue: :p |

it's funny, the ratio of guys to girls yesterday was pretty equal. i hadn't been surrounded by so many members of the opposite sex at crobar in quite some time. |

ugh...don't talk about the line...
anyways, wasnt sure if the $20 g6actionlab guestlist would work but i decided to venture out anyway. met up with liz al and jenn to eat at a diner, then headed up to crobar -- got there 11pm and the bouncers were totally letting in random ppl as well as VIP in front of me, jenn, liz and albert...later i found out i got on the wrong line...the G6actionlab guestlist line was on the OTHER side -- it took me 30 mins just to get to the front to find that out...but sall good cuz i only paid $20 to get in..but since i wasnt on the guestlist line to begin with i didnt get VIP access (not that i give a i was just happy not to pay $35 :) )
But forget the craziness on the line...Crowd on the main floor was a bit unbearable, and i couldnt believe how MANY ppl were there that night. it was freakin crowded and we were being shoved left and right along with miss bliss, frost, trunks, and danax (it reminded me of PVD at NYE)...-- either by amorous couples dirtydancing in our face, ppl who were taking up madd room and jabbing us repeatedly, or being stared and leered at by fobs/guidos -- then would try to grind us. it was def getting tiring trying to fend off people the whole nite, well i know i was tired of it after awhile. not to mention the big ass balloons that were coming down from the ceiling...kept bopping us on the head :whip:
but other than that, i thought dj three and sasha spun an ill set...i was def enjoying it...and then james lavelles set was surprising. In A State was definitely a memorable moment, it was just so beautiful :D:D:D
we didnt take much pictures cuz of the crowd, and i couldnt get close enough to Sasha so here is just pictures of us four...the 2nd one was taken around 4am -- we were by the fire exits and sitting on top of a speaker (?)

def a great time guys...sooo glad i decided to come :D :D :D <3 |
