The latest weird & annoying thing to happen to me: I'm at dinner with friends, and my cell phone rings. The number comes up as unlisted, so I don't answer. There are very few people I'll interrupt dinner for to answer the phone, & an unlisted number isn't one of them.
I check my message as I'm walking home. The message is 65 seconds of New Order's "True Faith".
Theory #1: someone accidentally called my number while listening to that song.
Paranoid Theory #2: Someone who KNOWS that New Order is my favorite group called & played that song, & didn't leave any indication of who it was. |
