Agreed, 18+ sucks!!

Too packed.

Sorry but being 28 and partying next to 18 year olds doesn't sound that appetizing. Crobar got my respect because of the vibe/crowd that it maintains. 18+ distorts that.

yes, but we shouldnt just be happy with the least common denominator...crober understood that and gave everyone the best superclub in the city...lowering the age down to 18+ is a bottoming out of standards...

how old are you again? 19? when kids like you actually show up, crobar will suddenly turn to ...coincidence?? absolutely not...

I actually think Crobar is a good club...staff is cool, layout is good, soundsystem is good...all in all its my fav in NYC.

18+ sucks...make that 21+ for guys and 18+ for girls....then we are talking (even though i have a girl lol).

Also they need to make clubs harder to get into...anyone can jus stroll right in now...i remember Limelight and Mirage (circa 93) watching people get turned away left and right.

hm what was it about arc that made it a pleasant experience, even with the 18+?

ah yes, probably no alcohol served

this is true but a tight door isn't always a guarantor of a good time -- marquee and quo still work a really tight door but you go there to celebrity-watch and not dance.

cielo still works a slightly tighter door and it's a dope little club -- crobar is usually tougher than it was yesterday but overall crobar is the best big club in the city.

mirage/carbon could turn people away 'cause they were hot in the mid '90s -- same thing with webster hall -- i remember when the drag queens working the webster hall door let nobody in -- same with the tunnel, yet none of these clubs held a candle to the peak years of vinyl or twilo (where admittance was less stringent).
