Lee.....nobody said you in particular. It's the underage crowd as a whole. Ill admit when I was younger and first started going to clubs, I always got myself into some kinda trouble. Its the whole mentality of being an 18 year old punk trying to prove something. I guess when you get older you will understand.....and don't even play if off like your not going to care when you are....cause everybody says that bull . |
all the big events here are @ avalon, and always 18+, so i really dont think there will be a difference... |

Someone 28 years old (me) typically is not more mature than an 18 year old? An 18 year old guy isn't more concernced about proving themselves, making an appearance, and therefore more apt to start ?
I can speak from personal experience and how different of a person I was at 18 vs. the way I am now.
Most importantly, when it's 18+ at Crobar is TOO DAMN FREAKING PACKED!!
Combine that with kids trying to start because they are not as confident in being themselves, then we have something that ruins my vibe.
I also know how different it is when I'm partying with Sander K at 21+ and when it's a freaking madhouse with Sasha at 18+. |

| The one thing I know about being an 18 year old man is that they all think they know everything. It's just like my 15 year old niece. She likes to lecture me on life. I have a nice chuckle about it. |

I thought crobar is to prove your self & make an appearance (paris hilton and such celebs)
Anyway blaming crouded clubs on 18 year olds is kinda funny. |

Without question the older I get, the more I realize how much I don't know. But in this argument, it's like 10 against one. And you're the one. So, I have to be more inclined to believe our thought process on this.
Yes, I'm blaming 18 year old for making it more packed because allowing that crowd makes it over packed. 100% of the times that 18 year old are not there, it's not too packed. 100% of the times 18 year old are there, it's too packed. Hmmm.... |

before glow @ fur was 18+, there was room to dance...the club was cleaner, you saw less fights..etc etc
now that its 18+, every 18-20 year old in the tri-state area makes it down every saturday and you can barely find an inch by inch space room to dance in.
everyone goes through it..it sucks, but its just a fact that 21+ are a more mature crowd. are there asses who are over 21? of course. are there mature people under 21? definitely. but in this case, i see what everyone is saying... |

No LOLS Lee you just won't understand the way we feel until you get to the age that we are at. Yes its true, we were all that age once and had a similar following/liking like most under 21. |

lol it may be 10 against one, but only one of you have used your wisdom to look at things the other way. As previousely stated, the best clubs that have been in NYC have been 18+. |

i think its just funny to blame over croudedness on ages. It just seems to me the second you turn 21, you just want to feel like your "supreame/better then you were at 18" and then go say that you just want to go to 21+ events because you want to get into the next social class, and leave the previous one behind. |

That must have been the time that I was 18.....
Currently, Crobar was my favorite spot because there is hardly any fights, the management seems to know what their doing, the crowd is cool, and they get good DJ's. All those events have been 21+. The few events at 18+ haven't been as coolio. So I don't understand the argument about comparing to other clubs, countries, or past times. It's not a linear comparison. We're talking Crobar. |
