I totally disguise this type of music. I cant stand it, nor like it.. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTT ! ! ! ! ! ! .. since all the girls are into it, one time this hot chick friend I had, wanted to dance reggeton ( and for those that know how reggeton is danced, you wouldnt have mind heh ).. so yeah, is great for dancing with chicks, perhaps you have fun listening to it in a club drunk, but to go and look out for this trash, NEVAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!
In fact, I live in Miami, and the rock station, transformed into a Reggeton station.. is called, Latino and Proud.. blaaaaah ! .. there's even a reggeton fest going on in Downtown Miami, in the same place where Ultra will take place, bayfront park. Is been taken over by the puerto ricans! |

| hehe funny u mentioned it because I met Tego Calderon when he came to Houston last year. He sang one song only...he is my favorite. His remix of 50cents with the instrumental is killa in spanish :) Good music to dance with chicks :) |

its funny.
when i lived in puerto rico in the early 90's Vico-C and Big Boy were totally the shiznits....... it wasn't as big as it is now and so it was mainly just an underground sort of thing. In fact, it was called UNDERGROUND before it even developed its name as 'reggaeton'.
then in the late 90's it totally went big with electronica beats added in the background. Daddy Yankee totally worked with this. Then Tego Calderon came out and totally brought the music back to a street level sort of thing.
Now its huge.......im talkin, MEGA HUGE. And it pisses me off.
if you dont like it at first, you're bound to be brain washed by it eventually.
personally- ill just stick to my trance and reggae.
oh and if you dont think what im saying is valid- im puerto rican
lol
and lived in PR for more than 12 years |
