The first song that really caught my attention was "Around the World" by ATC, and then when I heard "Barbie Girl" by Aqua I just about fell off my chair I'd never heard anything so "hypnotic" (well, hypnotic compared to regular american pop and rock).
After that I started getting Aqua and "Roses Are Red" became my favorite eurodance/club song for a while. I've been collecting euro ever since....I've slowly been going into trance since DJ Encore and now Trance has been my fav genre for some time. |

when i was around 6.
my perents would work on weekends so they would drop me to my uncles (my dads brotehr) apartment. he was new in canada back then, before he lived in Berlin and he liked to listen to EDM. He did not have a TV at the time, only a stereo and a couple of CDs he bought from germany. first time i heard trance was the X-Mix MFS trip cd. i loved the "How much can you take" track. my uncle also had the 1994 mfs release of 45 RPM by PvD and he told me that the guy who made how much can you take made these songs too. first PvD song i ever heard was Pump this Party and then For an Angel. i fell in love with that type of music. my dad got me a really cheap walkman with no radio, so my uncle made me a tape with Paul van Dyk stuff, Cosmic Baby, Orbital's Halcyon from Mortal Kombat and a couple of other song i really loved but cant remeber who it was by or wat is was called. i didnt called that stuff trance untill i was 11. to me it was just music. |

| Alice DJ led the way for me. After hearing it on the radio and liking the sound, i went home and typed "techno" into napster's search button. :clown: |

| My freind gave me one of his Prodigy CDs a few years ago and I thought that was awesome. Spent a year or so liking them and dling a few of their other choons off of kazaa. Then one day, another friend let me borrow his Darude - Rush CD. I fell in love with it and in my quest to find more on kazaa, I stumbled upon some tiesto sets. I never looked back. |
