I agree 100%. The man damn near brought every major power of the world to it's knees within a 3 year period. In 5 years, he turned Germany from the laughing stock of the world with unbelievable inflation, unemployment, and poverty into the worlds most powerful nation (arguably). I honestly beleive that had he died in early 1938, he would have gone down as one of the greatest men to have ever lived.

The New Deal really wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. By 1937 the country was still pretty deap in the Depression. What really brought America up and beyond was the preparing for war and then fighting it.

Has to be good old Adolf. Amazes me how one man could have turned a supposedly Democratic Western Power in to a dictatorship that could have conquered the world.

Then we have to take in account that most of us are western guys that mainly know the history of the west and naturally find it more important. Even if the first person I thaught about was Hitler, it may well be that Lenin was the more important. just that I don't know that part of history as well as WW2. Actually I don't know anything about him (more than posted here, which I just gave a quick look...) so I should just stfu.
How about some Chinese guy? Arabians? What have they done the last 100 years? As stated above: I do not know history...

Nobody meets my arguments for not voting einstein. I take that as you all agree. :)

My spontaneous response to the question is Hitler. Why is obvious imo.

You got to be kidding! The person who invented trance. Good choice... yeah right!

My choice is Albert Einstein. I can't understand how someone can be such a genious. Amazing... And someone asked what he has done. Have you ever studied? This kind of things should know.

I know a lot of you may disagree but I believe that hands down Adolf Hitler was the most important person of the 20th century. He altered the world in a way that no other person did and as with other important individuals still has an effect on our world today.
