Juventus started the first half very well and played quite good. Then we lost the ball a couple of times and Arsenal was came into the game.
We need to rebuild and start more movement, we haven't got any movement in the offensive box currently and it's very hard for us, and easy for Arsenal to defend.
Arsenal took over a little after 20 minutes and started building up something little. They've stopped both Zambrotta's and Mutu's attacks so far and all thanks to a nice co-work by Fabregas and Eboué.
It may be a little hard for Zambrotta and Mutu to decide who's going to attack. But, I still think they have to co-opperate a lot more, becuase they can't blame Emerson for the poor support, he's always available.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic started out very well and played quite ok the first 10-15 minutes. But then he stopped moving and running, but I know it's hard to play when you haven't got no help from the midfielders. Still, I think Emerson has done a pretty good half and Vieria can do better, he's bene pretty good to.
But we can't afford to lose balls on the midfield all the time, that's Arsenal's signum. To counterattack and that very fast, that's what they did and Fabregas took the ball away from Vieria and started a counterattack. He got served by Henry later on and shot 1-0 through Lillian Thurams legs, unlucky for Thuram. Nothing to do for Buffon, Can't blame no one for the goal. But this is how it is when the game is very close. We have to take care of the ball a little better, but we're still not that bad today.
Also, Trezeguet needs a little help from both Zlatan and Vieria offensively. I would like to see Mutu and Camoranesi play more offensive and try to pass by their defenders, Mauro can do that for sure.
Btw, Mauro is suspended for the second leg next week on Delle Alpi.
With this, I hope we can score in the second half. |

Going to be a very tough battle back in Turin for Juve. No viera, no Zebina, no Camoranesi. I missed most of first half, but Arse was playing their good fluid football and Juve looked very, very sluggish. Looked like they missed Nedved and Del Piero greatly.
Man of the Match: Fabregas |

was i on crack ? nope because last i checked it 0-0 in the 39th minute of the first half, then i came here and nobody mentioned arsenal scored at the 40th minute ... why didn't you say that zoran ?
anyway this confirms how ty juventus is, this team got outplayed by youngsters. i don't see them winning 3-0 next week specially with all the missing mofos. and once again juventus does not deserve being first in serie a. |
