But Capello's tactics were definitely questionable. Experementing by playing montero in central defence, thuram on the right and olivera at right midfield in such a big game were very poor decisions. However the lack of depth in the side was evident. Sadly, Nedved is finished, he should retire at the end of the season. Ibrahimovic was brought to the team to score goals not for fancy footwork, but as you saw in the first half his finishing this season has been mediocre at best.
Instead of saying the team played well but were unlucky the Capello & Moggi should be apologising to the fans. Loosing to mediocre english teams just ain't acceptable. |
Mediocre!!!! Give me a break.. Liverpool are 4th best in the Prem (5th at the moment though). And we were by far the best team over the 2 legs, so what does that say about Juve? Benitez got his tactics spot on, putting 2 defensive midfielders in the team. You had 2 or 3 shots at goal for the entire 90mins. Juve needs to sort out its attack in my opinion, the defense are fine. I mean u had 5 1-0s in the first round. |

Well the failure in the mid-week against Liverpool is sad
on a lighter note - Milan drop a game and we move 3 point clear at the top, all we need to do is focus from not until the end of the season and the title is ours. |

After todays match I'm begining to think so too. I really hope the Juve players can pull good performances in the last three games. BTW, next game Ibrahimovic is back and the game after that Mutu can play after his suspension is over

| Looking forward to this season, It's going to be pretty interesting for sure. I'm pretty sure that Patrick Viera can help Juventus to grow and get even better this season than the last season where we won the Scudetto. I think it's our time to win the Champions League again, It was exactly 10 years ago that we made that come true. |
