My gf works for independant film company and they didn't raise enough money to finish the movie but enough to go to Ethiopia and make this footage. I saw "what it is" without any notes and subtitles, but even this little can scare. As i know HBO was interested in buying this footage so most likely it will appear on one of their channels. Hopefully soon.

and no, I'm not doing PR for Le Bernardin. Hahaha, we don't need PR, my bosses maybe because we post press releases a lot but as I said I'm an event planner-party consultant. And I'm booked for 2 years in advance already.

Ok ok, Miss Party Planner :p You win. Next time I show a foxy young lady that I know how to pick good restaurant, I'll just drop your name at the front and get priority seating, right? :D (Btw, how do you say your name? Is it pronounced the way it's read??)

Now wait a second: Since when were important social issues boring?? I might not be able to quote any important thinkers regarding the issue, but that doesn't mean I can't think about the subject in the form of a film by possibly one of the greatest living directors of our time. Should I be interested in genocide to watch Schindler's List or Hotel Rwanda??

Anyway, kudos to your GF!! That's extremely impressive to get a documentary picked up by HBO. They've produced an amazing amount of high quality documentaries. They've actually won 2 straight academy awards for best documentary (Chernobyl Heart and Born Into Brothels), so your GF is good hands. :D If I may ask, what is her name? I'll keep an eye out for her work when it pops up (you can PM it to me if you don't want to share that info publicly).

I'm a Financial Planner for Lord & Taylor. If anyone has heard, Federated (Macy's, Bloomingdales) bought us out. So I'm kind of listening to other offers at the moment. There is a lot of retail jobs like this in NYC so I'm not too worried.

The job is pretty stress free. Obviously, since I surf the internet a lot. It's seasonal so it can get really busy and then get pretty chill. I get bored easily if I'm not challenged so that has been it's drawback. It does pay well and I get to be a little more fashionable. My company is about 70% women and there are plenty of hotties too. So that's a bonus. :disbelief

My past experiences in retail have been as a buyer and that is something I am looking to go back into. It's more dynamic and challenging. This is kind of in the works anyway.

I actually graduated in Sports Marketing (and that was always my dream job to work for a sports team) but it's proven to be quite a difficult challenge. As such, I'm going to get my masters degree soon in International Business as I want to have my own business exporting from SE Asia. My buying/planning experience would really help I think.

80% of the world's richest people own their own business. Plus, to be my own boss, be constantly challenged, and to travel the globe really is a dream to me.

:D

Ok...

So, Im a student in college majoring in Liberal Arts for now, when I transfer I plan to switch my major to Biology or Biochemistry. I minor in DJing and producing. :p :p

For work, I work at an online electronics merchant updating prices and items on the website. I just recently got a promotion and a raise. WOO!

I’m a Business Intelligence Consultant with Ajilon Consulting ( Business Intelligence = a broad category of applications and technologies for gathering, storing, analyzing, and providing access to data to help enterprise users make better business decisions in a nut shell)

I love it sometimes... but sometimes it can be boring, but you can get a nice little power trip off when large corporations have no idea what they are doing and you can see it plain as day. They need help and they are asking a 24 year old what to do...:p
