being lost to time wouldn't aply to any of the bands mentioned if you only talk about the people who listened to them and still listen to them, i'm talking about mainstream radioplay and discussion

of course bands like pink floyd and the police will never truley be forgotten by people knowledgable about music, and where current music came from.


They're still massively popular with everyone over 25, and their stuff gets hammered by music channels and retro radio (Pink Floyd excepted, because they didn't really do singles).

Pink Floyd's The Wall has sold over 20 million copies in your country alone. That's about 1 in every 10 people who own a copy. In your street alone chances are two or three people own it.

You tard! Robin is not dead. In fact, he owns himself a recording studio! The Gin Blossoms will blossom again this summer with a new CD! They are currently on tour.
