hehe one of my aerospace proffs is not too happy with this plane, he calls it the flying titanic out of europe.
soooo many airports around the world will have to build new terminals and increase the length of thier runways to accomodate this thing.
a sweet plane none the less. |

That looks amazing, can't wait to get on one of those things!
One question though, isn't the interior design dictated by the buyer? Say if an airline bought one then it would be upto them if they wanted to make it a floating lounge or a double decker with bus seats packed to the hilt right?
Which leads me to beleive the chances of actually enjoying that kind of interior are quite slim... :( |

You are correct. Nearly every airline is going to cram these things with as many seats as they can. Efficiency has become the name of the game in airlines these days.

| The airlines will design the interiors with their own colors and logos...but other than that the seats and such will be the same. That'll be the standard - the airlines will work around that standard to customize whatever they need I guess :) |

Why do I get the feeling that snoop dogg is going to buy one of these and paint it purple?
Based on a project I did a few years ago on Air Canada, I thought the airline dictated what seating configuration they used. If its up to them, the things are going to be just as rammed as our current airplanes.
I want supersonic flight back too, but too many laws against it. Hell, the Concorde couldn't even fly to half the countries in the world because of the damn sonic boom. Regardless, I want it back too :P |
