Im more worried about random violence like drunk guy jumping somebody for no reason than I am about being mugged or shot with intention.
In realaity Im not at worried about the level of violence in toronto. |

that seems right.
We talked about it in sociology how violent crimes as a whole were on their way down, but murders were up.
the site shows otherwise tho, so Im not sure whats going on. |

Lets see..someone was popping off a BB gun.. and in the news some couple is looking for their stolen parrot. If this was the US it would be a tech 9 and someone looking for their abducted kid.
Trust me what goes on here in relation to the size of the city is small potatoes compared to most of the rest of the world. Sure murders happen here, 5 million people live here. But anywhere else with 5 million people would have a murder count not in the 10's but in the 100's per year. Of course you have to be careful but you have to take some precaution anywhere you go. It would be stupid not to. |

OK...here's what I witnessed today
We're sitting down eating at some place and looking out the window, and I witnessed this guy get outta his (black ford mazda)car and go over to the car in front of his(a grey civic honda)...then he starts yelling and hitting his fist at this cars driver side window (problem was that no one was giving this car a chance to get into the lane at this intersection..so he was like petrified to cut in) newayz the guy was fuming....I mean, thank god there was no gun in hand cuz he wud of used it. Then another guy from the car behind the black car gets out and starts doing the same. So like I'm thinking OMG...this is gonna be a deadly road rage scene.
And you guys are saying it's pretty safe. I'm like :wtf: :nervous:
I'm starting to feel a little nervous now.
Thank god that guy in the honda ignored the other guys and finally drove off...or else that would of been a bloody scene for sure :nervous: :sadgreen: |

Hmm... good idea.
I gotta go sword-shopping... either buy one of those samurai swords/replicas or a heavy duty sword a-la-king-arthur... go medieval on their ass! |

The replica's work just as good and you can always say that it was only in your home for display but it was the closest thing to your reach. No way they can say you intentionally got one to kill an intruder trying to harm your ass :stongue: |

of course...
...or maybe buy a few of them and hang them on the walls all around the house - just to make sure it is within reach in any room i end up. :D
