ok now i'll try...
if you look at the picture that she posted...it is typical of what we are considering candyraver kids...i think you'll agree with that. |
yep

now are these the people that you are refering to when you say the old skool "clubkids"? obviously not. |
nope...

maybe she didn't say what she was thinking in a way that you could understand it, but i'm positive that her point is that these kids are underaged...immature...and really most likely just hanging around the clubs to rebel against mommy and daddy. |
I see your point....but what underage kid isnt in a club to rebel? To feel cool?...they all are....doesnt make a difference how you dress.
Personally some of them annoy me...but pretty much everyone annoys me (you should know that bro after all these years...LOL)

now when you throw a bunch of these little kids into a club with adults...what is that going to do for the scene? absolutely nothing. i don't know about everyone else, but i don't wanna be dancing in a club with a bunch of little kids in it. the point that krysta was making as far as her appearance goes was that basically she is going out to have a great time with friends and they dress nice whatever, but the important thing is that they are adults and don't act like little kids. |
Again i see your point...But in 1994 at Limelight it was a friggen freak show...kids dressed way worse then todays clubkids...yet those were the best days of NYC..no one can deny that...so you tell me how it amkes a difference with the way you dress...if your attitude is immature then it makes no difference if you are glowing with pacifiers and the such or wearing an Armani suit or Dolce & Gabbanna.

now i look at that pic you posted from europe...what is different between those club kids and the ones she posted. well, the ones you posted are adults and have probably been clubbing forever...hence as you said...old skool club kids. that's cool...if that's their lifestyle i don't think anyone is gonna give a , but the pic that krysta posted shows a bunch of kids that are in the midst of some phase of teenage angst...and will most likely grow out of it in a couple of years.united states...its hard for a club to grow in size and popularity... |
Agreed....but thats a different argument all together...now you are argueing age...i dont think anyone under 21 should be in a club.

really i think it just comes down to maturity. |
Agreed and not the way you dress....i mean what about all the rough neck kids who go to clubs dressed all thugged?

krysta is saying that she doesn't want a bunch of little kids in the clubs...and i agree. and what i've been trying to say...which i'll say again because i know you've been avoiding it...is that these kids put a stigma on EDM in america. when you here about raves or something on tv...it comes with the stigma that its a bunhc of 16 year olds...doing drugs...and listening to this wierd "techno" music. as long as there is that stigma in the united states...its hard for a club to grow in size and popularity... |
I now there is a stigma...i wont deny that. But that stigma never caused a problem back in the day in NYC....clubkids died out before clubs in NYC started to close.... |

Yeah Dr. King was a hardcore raver.
I have a dream. A dream that one day, these pink elephants floating around my head will go away! And the pigeons with orange fur will rule in their stead alongside mighty lord Shiva. Give me more E! |

that 16 year old kid whatever his name is. It doesn't matter. When was the last time you saw soccer players making 10 million dollars a year. If they were, I am sure that there would be "more" talent. |
