Damn what a night! It turned out pretty well, and the guy at the door by the end said we had 200 people attend! So we covered all of our expenses and it was a great chance to meet a lot of the midwest TranceAddicts... all of the DJ's were excellent and offered something different. I hope we can do something like this again! We took a ghetto orange garage and turned it into something... brilliant. Julie and I took pictures but we're too damn tired to post them now... but I made this thread so everyone has a place to post their pictures and reviews.

To be fair, all the DJ's you heard consisted of 20 minutes before your set, and 20 minutes after... I.E. You didn't hear/care about hearing dude...

Man, I really did have a in blast last night, and I'd be down for it again with out a doubt...

I really was digging Crrazydan and Lucas' deep, dark, prog sets early in the night, Daniel K did a PHENOMENAL job dealing with the skipping Tech 12's, Tyler's set blew me away, his remix of BT's "Force of Gravity" mixed into Piece Process "New Driver" drove me wild, Andy (Wolverine) just has a style I personally really dig, the tracks he played out last night were just what I wanted to hear, and what can you say about a dude who sounds as unique as Jam.ii/Joe? It was SO lame that they got on us about time towards the end of the night, but those of us who stuck it out all had a blast.

Meeting you guys was a ing great experience and I hope it's not the last time I see any of you all... I can't wait to have a few of you up to spin here in Point.

Thanks again to all the people who contributed to this being a great weekend, and well worth the absolute exhaustion I'm feeling right now!

Peace, Cheers,

RJT

just got back to madison....whew. awesome night fellas...great music and great mixing in spite of some technical issues. i think next time the tonearm weight should be bumped up .5-1 gram. the night also reminded me that i can't rely on beatmatching the highhats (had a very hard time hearing them in the headphones on some tracks) and i need to spin on different setups to gain more versatility. i'm dreading hearing my recorded mix :nervous: but i had a great time! thanks to phreek for taking me and j. alexander out friday night, phreek and crrzydan for organizing the event, rob for fronting the cash, and all the djs and everyone else who came and showed support. it was very class of you all who were there at the beginning, and stuck around till the end ;) it was a pity that not many people were there to hear the later djs excellent sets. we need to find a way to get people in early and keep people around till the end....i think in the future, we need to have somewhat frequent events, but book fewer djs at each event, because we all deserve to spin at peak hours....and we should have a house party where anyone can spin the "other night" (fri or sat) of the weekend. just throwing some ideas out there. it was a pleasure to meet and party with all you guys, and i'm sure this will act as a catalyst for the trance/progressive scene around the midwest.
