Pride Parade? (pg. 8)

Deko-ze is the best this city has to offer IMO. To see him on a float bringing the pain he brings with his dirty tribal and progressive would be amazing. I don't know if I could handle the freakshow that is the PRIDE parade though.
If the organizers or city council could somehow clean up the event, i'd be more than willing to check it out. But for now, it seems to be nothing more than a nasty freakshow. |

I am not homophobic and have gay friends and have also worked at a gay bar.
I am more liberal atheist so i have nothing against gays or a gay pride parade.
But there comes a piont if i am partying or around somthing like that i start to get gayed out. Being around that and seeing all them together and all the looks they give me kreeps me out and scares me cuase i know how horny and how guys work. LOL hey i admit it makes me uncomfortatble but then again i am bodybuilder and i am there pamela anderson sort of speak so i have a reason to get gayed out at times. |

If you ever actually went to one of the parades, you'd quickly discover that the "freakshow" is only made up of a couple dozen (if even that) people in a parade of 1000's. Obviously the media focuses on this because sex sells and it's great for shock value. In reality however, you'd find that the vast majority of the parade is everyday people marching and some pretty elaborate floats. |

Id agree with that. But they do have to clean up some elements as well if they want to make it a "family" event. If not it would be nice to see some naked lipstick lesbians LOL LOL |

i love the pride parade! i always get extremely excited! i was 15 when i went to my frist one and every year ive been at ocad i have been taking part in making the float and i always march too!
charmscars ( my sister) also took part in the parade with me when i was in first year too. it is soooo much fun!
in my opinion,, if i was a spectator , i would totally bring my kids... i dont think that its wrong at all for them to see male and female anatomy in leather chaps or whatever. its an event that celebrates love. i sound like such a hippie right now.
kids see crap on tv that is much worse! violent behaviour is much worse by far.
anyway here are a couple pics from pride! since i just learned how to post them. pic whore!
oh and i did make my costumes for both years! and helped make the floats.
