| This story will disappear in a week unless alarmists go and start making it an issue. |

omg you people are so funny. Sure, the type of music is to blame, not guns and bad security.
Aren't there shootings at Film all the time?? |
The security is not to blame imo, lots of times the owners bring in some people of their own and those people never get searched because they are friends with the owners.and thats exactly what happend at After Life few weeks a go.The guy knew the owner so he gets in without geting searched and he had a gun.
and about your comment on film yes there has been shootings there but it doesnt happen every week.I know for fact that alot of people walk in there with guns without any problems. |

I will say it again:
Boa has the best sound and the best security in the city.
Not only do they do a great job on the frisk with polite staff, but they have a metal detector which ensures the safety of the patrons.
That is why Boa is such a great place to party - I have never ONCE felt concerned about my security, which has allowed me to focus on my friends, the tunes and shakin' my ass. |

Well letting people walk in with guns is bad security. I didn;t mean that the personel was poorly trained, I meant that the security is bad in general. |

| this has nothing to do with hip hop. there was street and gang violence way before there was hip hop. for as long as theres poverty there will be violence. for as long as there is p[overy there will be the ignorant and for as long asthere is humans there will be destruction. live ith it or hide in ur bubble |

It is not bad security its the club owners ignorence. If the owner wants a specific person in there is nothing the security can do.Funny thing is they get blamed if anything happens not the owner.:o |

But hip hop helped bring it into some clubs because that music condones that culture. There is no denying it. Just the same as dance music has a strong association with certain drugs and rock concerts bring out mullet heads who drink molsons. The only diff is that im not going to end up in the hospital thanks to someone shooting off a stray e. This is why i lost it when they tried to connect raves with violence in the media a few years ago. |
