really? So you havnt seen the shirts with "bitch and proud" or "princess"?
I hear women often say they are proud of being bitches. My response is always "thats nothing to be proud of" which just leaves them confused. |

I don't believe women are 'proud' of being bitches, they are simply proud to stand out amongst the throngs of people in this world, and the same can be said of any of group. The people who where the geek clothes ( from thinkgeek.com) all the way to the people who wear the Zoo york clothing.
We can't simple discriminate a group because they wear a certain type of clothing, its an attack on their free being |

Um no...they are proud of being bitches...
If they want to distinguish themselves as women then they would be proud of being women, not bitches.
"bitch" basically means that they are dominant and bossy especially where men are concerned. |

I still disagree. Have you ever said something you truly didn't mean, simply to stand out, maybe within a crowd, or within your family?
I know I am guilty, as are many of my friends/aquaintances.
We will use the women and bitches example.
When they use this term, I feel it is a general revolt against the people who enjoy the power they have over these women. These women do not simply want to be portrayed as bitches (but yes, some do) but most simply want to make a stand against the mainstream groups who believe that women are not 'whatever their cause is, fill in'.... |
