common people, these artists are not cool at all. If Tiesto remixed Usher, forget it. Bashing like there is no tomorrow.
Too many hypocrits on this board.
If you say Tiesto and Armin are selling out, you better be prepared to own up to the fact when one of your boys like Sander does too. | dont forget his lovley mix of NERD....maybe |

+1
The production is good in the song and I like Sander but Usher's vocal pretty much ruins it for me personally. This seems like a song that would play in one of the lame 18+ dance clubs with the permanent DJ who doesn't mix and the high school girls who are being hit on by 30 year old pedophiles :toothless. We have a club like this in Portland Oregon called The Quest, it's pretty bad :p . I haven't heard the Dub so that could be good, not gonna seek it out though. In the US Usher is one of those MTV mysteries. Your not sure why he's popular or what his music is but you see him every other day on Cribs or TRL showing off his mansion and whatnot. He's pretty much a joke in the US unless your a teenage girl or a "player" wannabe. So this is a bad avenue for Sander to go down IMO. But I will still go see him live and listen to his future stuff because he is a good producer. |

You really are a complete numbnut. Let's see from tta's point of view. Sander Kleinenberg has never "Sold Out", he's not an Armin, with pushing his lameass ASOT mass tripe on the world. He's not Tiesto, who is too busy being a popstar and trying to push his crappy sound on the world. Now you have Sander Kleinenberg, who is always expanding his sound, always happy to play new places, you don't see him being a massive popstar. Sander is always trying to evolve and push new stuff, he has not been playing the same crap for the last few years like some other A list deejays. I give him massive props for that and for being original. Usher asked for a remix and he did one, no big deal, many many deejays have done it before him. Before you call Sander K a sellout, please get your facts straight. |
BRILLIANT!!!
And whoever else questions Sander...ask yourself...would your favorite DJ say what Sander says in the quote in my sig?
Didnt think so...
I am almost embarrased that i liked Tiesto for as long as i have....and that last 10% that still sticks with him is quickly saying ta ta to the boy band DJs. |

Madonna is a living legend...up there with Michael Jackson...regardless of either ones personal lives...they are both brilliant artists.
Justin Timberlake has more soul then half the R&B acts out now...the kid has a great funk style as well...do u even know good music?
Janet Jackson used to be good...now not so much.
Usher...i dont like R&B..but for me to say he sucks would be like saying En Vogue was a ty R&B group (before your time kiddo)...it would be foolish.
U say not cool....so what is cool....Jan Johnston aka Miss Tone Deaf..the leader of the vocal trance who cant hold a tune when she plays live:rolleyes:
I dont know if Armin sold out...cus well i never listened to him or know jack about him...but Tiesto did sell out and i say good for him...get the cash while u can...however Sander seems to push the boundries...he explorers and is not stagnant with his sound...one minute he is playing trance then funk then house then prog trance then prog house then pop then old 80s tunes then rap....he is like no other...
I just wish i took TTA's advice years ago about him...but oh no i stuck with trance...lol |

Selling out is seen as an artist just trying to cash in right? Well if Sander is a sell out so are artists like Dave Seaman. I mean he produced for Kylie Minogue right so he's obviously a sell out.
Not everyone uses the whole "sell out" copout. Calling an artist a sellout is basicaly saying "I don't want to like a commercial artist because everyone else does, boo hoo". There are rare cases where the artist genuinly sells out as well and doesn't care about anything but cash and whatnot but that's only when he doesn't do it for the music.
Sander makes killer tracks and until he makes his own action figure and his cologne, DJ for men, STFU |

Killer Tracks?
Have you even listened to this bull track? Its horrible. The vocals sound like Usher is on Helium.
And Sander makes his own tracks, now that is a joke. Junkie XL made all his for him. I doubt anything has changed.
Oh and for the clueless one that says Sander doesnt play the same all the time, You are dead wrong. He plays the same sets with a few changes every time he plys at Space here in Miami. The difference between Sander and other DJs, Sander doesnt let his get broadcast therefor you dont hear it all the time. Its the same exact thing with Desyn Masello. Still playing the same as from his essential mix from last year. |

I think the main problem with this track is that it alienates the core audience that it targets.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that most people who like Sander don't like RnB. EDM listeners these days, especially in the US, want music to escape from the MTV, 50 cent, Beyonce bull . Ok, maybe we can tolerate Justin Timberlake, Maddonna, and even Janet Jackson remixes. But a no-talent RnB singer like Usher? It just doesn't fit. I appreciate, as many do, when artists push the bounderies. But this is not a boundery that we want pushed. I don't think this track will sell well because, like I said, it alienates the people who like Sander. So who's left to buy this album? Teenage girls, wedding DJs, and player wannabes, that's who. |

totally agree
i for one hate the cheesy r'n'b drivel that is all over commercial music channels and im not sure i like the idea of people like sander k taking that sort of music and remixing it in an attempt to push it into the edm market. dont get me wrong most of sander k's remixes r top quality but im saddened that he is happy to promote what imo is talentless drivel thru his remixes. artists such as madonna etc have stood the test of time and r genuinely talented artists who deserve their success whereas usher is famous because teenage girls think hes well fit.
its got nothing to do with not being underground enough or any other rubbish - its just that i dont like that sort of music. if sander k wants to remix it then fine thats up to him but i certainly wont be buyin this when it is released because i dont even think its that great a remix. |
