I cannot support them on the basis of their human rights violations especially on the Ogoni peoples and the raping of their land over the last 50 somewhat years in Nigeria. To this day there is a case going on in NY due to the public execution of Ken Saro Wiwa, as some of you may remember, - an anti-Shell activist, who was publicly hanged 10 years ago (the 10 year annivesary of this atrocity is in Nov. this year) and buried standing up in a coffin that was too small for him. His remains have not been found to this day. His son Ken Wiwa, who has now dedicated his life to carry on his father's legend, has a column in the Sunday Globe & Mail. The commemorative event is to take place in major cities spread all over the globe, specifically headed here in TO at the Guvernment on 10 Nov., which will also mark the inaugurative day of the Ken Saro Wiwa Foundation.

Since Sir Mark Moody-Stuart took over as CEO, he's done some major changes in reshaping the companies policies. Sadly it took an atrocity to get shell to smarten up, but as of late, they're not even close to being the worst anymore.

Dude It is the LAW and your the last one to talk about Crusades
The LAW is No sale of Cigarettes to minors and the LAW is CANADIAN PHOTO ID not International ID that cannot be identified.
Try Getting into a club with it chances are they WILL let you in but they DO NOT have to! |

Dude it is Very specific about CANADIAN GOVT ISSUED ID.
PLUS I got 5 friends that are cops and 10 that work at LCBO

Anyone who even begins to argue that a passport isn't an acceptable form of ID has already proven he doesn't have a clue what they're talking about. It's THE universal form of identification. The fact it wasn't accepted just proves what a half-wit that gas attendant is.
