the bpm according to Rj who has remixed it is 138.

if need be, if you DO want to enter but cant without a midi then why not try a dub??

IMO anyone using the full vocals is a daft head, there , utter drivvel... Alucard and Will holland made good use of just a snippet, why not try the same?

Exactly.

Wel yeah, i'm trying a vocal mix but with some elements added to the acapella itself, it is just really hard for me to work without knowing the BPM, I can live without the MIDI, but without BPM using the vocals, is out of my reach.

I've remixed ALOT of acapellas without midi and BPM.

Just mess around with it together with a beat, and you'll find the bpm in less than 5 minutes. Midi can be useful, but not needed. It's much cooler to invent total different basschanges and melodies.

Those vocals are rotten cheese-e lol.

Thats the spirit! :D
I listened to the vocal stuff earlier today at work, I haven't heard the tune yet. As a "remix" I guess I must listen to the work I should remix first, but it would have been a funny challenge if everyone just got one vocal piece, with no melody, and take it from there :D
Ricksta
thats the spirit everyone!!! :D

god this thread was hard work to read

honestly someone just stick up a midi. if people use that midi and just create a standard trance tune that u dont want, then just disregard it and it wont win simple as. on the up side it will let a whole lot more non musically trained artists to join in and maybe create something u do want.
Ricksta
There isnt a midi! We never was given one and Alucard & WIll Holland just made mixes right out with just the vocals. I cant give something we dont have. If you cant work without one then its a shame but really, i dont have one, we never had one and anyone who wants to enter will just have to workwithout one.

The Original and Will Holland mixes are around on vinyl, or on beatport/audiojelly etc, so you could always listen to the samples on those sites to gauge any idea of the other versions.
