| Think I'm gonna give this a try too. Always great to do a rmx.:D What for do you need a MIDI, if you've got a vocal, you can put any melody under it(It still has to sound right, huh:D ). Just make use of your creativity. Yup, I'm in:happy2: |

Just found this thread, always liked the Alucard mix!
Made this short clip today. This is my first time working with vocals.. I can't get the vocals time-stretched right no matter what I do! :( Help! |

ive been using fl5 now for two months, im no expert by any means, i can make nice sounds but putting them together so it make a nice tune is another matter lol, so here is my attempt, could some one tell me how to sort out bassline in it plz

well doh! not everyone has been around producing long enough or is trained well enough to be able to make atleast a basic melody off of vocals. i personally want and NEED the key to make a remix. and its not an unusual request. plus it makes stuff easier if You take a melody and go from there. plus if i make my own melody then it wont be a remix, and i dont like making vocal tracks, so if i get the midi ill be going with a dub with some vocals!

I'm participating as well... since this is my first try to remix a track, I have a question
As I raise the tempo of the track in Cool Edit Pro the vocals are getting distorted a little, how do I flatten them to make it look well again?
Will finish it this week.. |
