seriously though, it looks like you all just came home from the salon where you ordered the "avril lavigne", and are now drinking spiked kool-aid out of flimsy red plastic cups that you stole from your school dance, while watching dawson's creek and hitting each other with pink pillows. and listening to rank 1 - airwave. |

I dont really have a problem with drug use, but the false glamour that surrounds EDM in general tends to make me upset. From the outside one is lead to believe that the feelings are genuine, that the people act the way they do because it is part of who they are. People get tricked into beleiving that they are going a party full of cool people and awesome music.
But it just isn't real, what they actualy see is yet another silly gimmick and a room full of ed up kids who don't care.
I'm not against taking some things to have some fun, im against the general fakeness that seems to infest any form of popular entertainment. I am just tired of all the lies, I want something real and genuine for a change. Everything from plastic surgury to trick one into thinking a person is attractive, to CGI rendering to trick one into believing that the newest game is fantasic looking. I am just sick of being lied to, trance markets itself as being this beutiful masterpiece but it just isn't. The kids are all rushing on pills that make them think it is so special, but when its time to party its just the same damn thing over and over.
like that girl in your av, I bet she would look like ass if she didnt have 3 coats of paint on her face, the trance scene just resembles one of those fake s from LA with all of its fake glamour. It just makes me wonder what are these people really like, whats going through their heads when they release the latest implementation of that same damn formula. I'm willing to bet it is closer to "those tards are sure to like this" than it is "OMG I love this sound this will make them dance for sure".
I dunno, things just seem so disgustingly fake. |
