Lately i have been wondering what music BT has been playing in his laptop or dj sets. mainly how would you describe his sound. just curious as i have listen to his great production, but not LIVE performance.

Pretty much everything i believe!

Hi set at TT was a lot of his old stuff, with some interesting remixes and a few other productions thrown in. I saw hm in Miami as he closed out Ultra Fest this year and he played lotsa old-skoool-nu-skool breaks (which admittedly wasn't all i had hoped it would be). The great thing about Mr Transeau is that he thrives on the big room stuff imo – i'm sure he'll bring the good stuff to GK next week ;)
Teflon_Teapot
oh i have no doubt BT will go nuts along with Above & Beyond and Gabriel & Dresden the main room is going to go nuts.
tachyon
so we'll have heaps of nuts to go around!!

As long as there is no power failure this year, i'll be happy although i didn't mind that freehand piano playing while he waited for the laptop to bootup again...

LOL i had just put my foot on the step to walk up onto stage to take some photos from behind him when the power went out... for a split second i thought i'd kicked out a cord and it was my fault. I nearly died!

That was some beautiful improvization while his laptop rebooted though.

"I'm playing some in b-flat 'cos i'm about to play Godspeed!"

*crowd goes mental*

Lol. I would have shat myself too. I still listen to that set now and then cause Nova100.3 decided they would be ko0l for a while and broadcasted all of the Hybrid set and the BT set (so i recorded it :)), so i always fast forward to the piano playing bit before listening to the set in its entirity. Cant wait to see him at GK2005 - So Pumped!
