Thanks to the judges of challenge 7. have any of you got any comments as i only seen comments for pepa's mix and not mine.
i would like to know why one judge gave me 24/25 for beatmatching and the other two judges gave me 19.5 and 20. don't get me wrong i'm not complaining as i won my challenge. but i have seen this happen in other challenges aswell. i would agree that judges scores may differ in the track selection as they may prefer one tracklist to another. but for judges to score differently on beatmatching confuses me as the beats are either in sync or not. as i said i've noticed this in other challenges and would like to hear the views of the other dj's and judges.

well 2 judges gave you pretty much the same score, i guess its down to preference. The problem is that everyone who enters this ladder is pretty ing good so too judge we have to be picky! to get 20 in beat matching means its a good mix but not perfect, there is some room, for improvement, but still better than most DJs ive seen in the last year! |
