Haha, its funny that rockabye finally joined up.

And Mr2gti, not to deflate your bubble, but your mix was more than 3 points behind spheres. im not saying your mix wasnt good but it was just kinda plain and didnt really have a flow to it. It was more like you were spinning each track than a set. I mean the beat matching is down so thats huge, now you just gotta start adding a flow to it. :D

Sphere: has the flow and the beat matching, and just needs to make the set have more peaks and valleys. Granted this is hard to do in 30 min, but i mean theres always something to work on...

unless your ferry cortsen or your tiesto of 1999-2001!!

Oh and i can judge another contest as well... just put me down for any.

Hey Zoulas!

Will you judge competition 4? I like reading through your comments, you're honest and positive, I like that! Thanks!

Well if this goes on there will be many many challenges per week and you don't have the records to put sets with 10 records online every 2 weeks (at least I don't). 5-6 per mix is just fine!

Sphere, it would be nice to show everyone some administration in the first post on which challenges are open/recent.

Anyways, I'm considering joining this competition. Mixing vinyl, are there any more vinyl mixers who joined this?

I think DJX2, TommyD and Luke C. use vinyl. I know records are realy expenssive, that's one of the reasons I allow only one challenge per week from each competitor and only 5-6 tracks ;) About the adminstration....I post challenges as they appear and after one challenge is over I edit that post. Check page 2,4,5 for example.

Make sure you all read the rules. I get tons of question a day. You'll find an answer in the first post for sure. Anyone who breaks the rules gets banned. I also ask every judge to PM me when someone breaks the rules (only edm music, people can't use the same set severall times, playing only 5 or 6 tracks per mix). I hope you understand. And once again: don't let people know in what challenge you are while it's running or you'll get kicked out of the competition.

Yeh I read through the pages and noticed the 3 challenges, but since there will be more posts it will be kinda hard to find every challenge back easily. Maybe just announce a new challenge by post and keep people updated on those in the first post... Just a suggestion ;)

I'll do that, if you guys think it's better.

Alright comp 4 it is,

And watch out now, cuz my equipment arrives in a couple days.
Just graduated and had to ship all my equipment from Michigan to Cali... Sooo expensive.

And I also use vinyl... And only vinyl, true it is expensive but i mean my mom can mix on cdj's or a comp. And its much more exciting to get vinyl in the mail than illegal, crude, poor quality rips or tracks off the net. (no offence to those whom use cdjs, or comp mixers.)
