ok the two thoughts don't relate to each other. because i said keaton is goofy doesn't detract from the movie being good or filling up theater seats. come back to me with another angle kid

The fact that he definitely did portray Batman and Bruce Wayne the way they should be. Have you ever seen Batman the animated series? Bruce Wayne is pretty goofy and funny at times. Why are you not criticizing that? Because, it fits. Bruce Wayne is not a serious character at all. He is very laid back when he is not Batman. Come back to me when you simply know what you are talking about, kid. ;)

i totally agree...the first batman and batman begins were good for different reasons...the first batman was really good and darkly comical but the sequels just got a bit too cheesy and overdone imo...the 2nd more reflective of Batman as the Dark Knight...i applaud both Burton AND Nolan for their visions... but Batman Begins gets my vote, i just prefer it...Christian Bale was excellent in his portrayal of the Dark Knight, and i thought the villian(s) was more heinous in this one. You have to admit, Scarecrow was madd creepy. im no movie critic but this is just what i thought.
fr0st
Christian Bale is also the first batman ti actually be 6'2"....

I hate when people bring up sales as a way of determining how good a movie is. Totally baseless argument, in my eyes.

I didnt bring it up to show that it was a good movie. I brought it up to show a lot of people went to see it. A lot more then usual. Showing, people thoroughly enjoyed it.

michael keaton was kinda goofy in that role. well maybe in the role of bruce wayne

You quoted me here in reference to my remark to Highmay about how I didnt understand why he may have thought Batman in the first one wasnt seen as a dark character. You responded with the above quote. To me, this means you were making the comment in defense to Highmay by saying, no he didnt because Bruce Wayne was too goofy. Wow, I could have been wrong kid, why dont you help me understand your thought process. Wait, nevermind... I think Ill pass on that one.

4. Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999) $922,379,000

23. Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) $648,200,000

does that mean everyone thoroughly enjoyed watching these two movies?
