sometimes though girls seem to get stuck in their own little games with themselves that they dont even remember what they want any more. So in the end imo this doesn't even help. |
I agree 100%, im done with games, i want a long term meaningful relationship. |

| Well in my case if I am even looking for potential runners up its a sign to myself that I am not happy with who I am with so I normally analyze the relationship at that point and let him go. In most cases I dont really go looking to begin with. I am very big on natural chemistry. Sometimes you meet the right person and they come to you and things just flow. |

But i think to call this just a female thing, is kinda wrong because I know guys that just do the same thing. Like they will go out with this girl for certin reasons. And once in a relationship will look for a "better girl." And do it again and again. Like jamie said you have to grow out of that phase, cause not many people are "perfect" :) . |
Well that was gonna be my next question; whether guys are the same.
I think some probably are, but for different reasons to girls maybe, i.e sex on tap. While a girl might do it for security and comfort etc.
Thus far it seems all women do it :p |

hmmm, it has been my observation that men do it more...like just keep some chick around because she's pretty and good in the sack, yet they are always looking over their shoulder at the club for someone better...at least when females do it, it's for a better reason other than just "oh he's a great lay". lol but i know there are women out there who will keep a guy around for ridiculous and selfish reasons as well.
and by the way, this game boils down to one thing only, insecurity. |

I think that in general men are not the same. Usually when a man has reached the point that he wants out of a relationship he has begun to view said relationship as a burdon. If one views something as a burdon then one will want to rid themselves of it as quickly as possible. I know that this is always how I have acted. |
