Why do men like Boobs?

OK, sounds like a piss take thread by Bartholemew or something, but im being serious here. Men probably have been attracted to boobs since the stone age but What is the actual scientific attraction with boobs?
Why do we like Bigger boobs than Flat chested Women?
My thoughts behind it would be that Larger breasts would contain more milk and nutrients meaning that children would be Stronger and more likely to survive...i mean thats all it was really about when we were cave men...Survival...

Well this is all very simple, there are a couple reasons:
1. Its your source of food when you're young, hence it only makes sense that they are important.
2. When women are pregnant there tatas naturally get bigger, it has to do with fertility and its in our genes to go for women who are fertile ( not neccessarily pregnant). Bottom line: survival of the fittest, bigger boobs, more likely to be fertile and nourish ones children....

You're spot on. Large breasts mean nuttrition for the offspring. They're also an indication of a female in good health. Men are also attracted to asses and well defined hips because a larger pelvis means less chance of the child dying during birth.
Women on the other hand are still attracted to a man's physical attributes, but they're of lesser importance. The top factor is power - power in the purest form, or in the form of relationships and social standing. Since humans are social animals, being in a position of power within the group means easier access to ressources and protection for both the female and the child. In modern society this manifests itself as attraction to rich men (doctors, for example), attraction to famous figues (celebrities, movie stars), and attraction to confident men who make friends easily (power in the form of social standing), etcetera. |
