someone just tried to break into my apartment!

i'm so scared! i'm home by myself, its my day off, and i've been sick on the couch all day. danny is at work til about 3:30am. i was sitting here talking to janette and then watching tv and someone started trying to open my door. i thought maybe danny got off early, so i said "who is it' just incase. they kept trying to open it. i said "who is it" again, over and over, and finally a guy said "Police". but i knew it wasnt b/c they would have knocked, not tried to just open the door. then they started knocking on my door and i just kept saying who is it. there was more than one person, i heard the guy say (what i thought was) "where is that bullet". i dont know if that's what he really said to the other person, but that was enough to make me run into my bedroom with my cats and lock the door and call 911. the police came really quick, and they are driving around my apartment complex for awhile, but they cant stay til danny gets home they said. when i came out to wait for the police, i looked out the peephole and there was no one out there. but now i'm alone again and i'm terrified and danny must not have his phone on at work....
this is so scary. tomorrow i'm buying more locks to put on the door, even though the apartment complex forbids it. i really thought i was going to get killed tonight :( |

| I know Mace doesn't do much against guys with guns but it's something that can ward them off fast enough for you to run. Look for a police utility store in the area or you can order it online. Also a metal bat, stirdy lead pipe or a tazer gun would help also. |

| Next time someone fondles your door, make believe someone is in the house and say (loud enough so they hear) "Baby, go get the rifles." And make sure you say it with a big hick accent, like you go hunting all the time and love it. |

Sweety, now that you live in the south... youre allowed to get yourself a Glock for protection. Apparently the south has different gun laws from the rest of the USA. I hear in the south its shoot and ask questions later. |
