| I really liked this track alot. Sounds cliche'd at times, but the vibe was there nonetheless. |

I would like to hear a brighter and clear'er piano in the middle
I hate that everyone just jerks off to this guys tunes. I've heard better productions on here and they get absolutly no replies or respect. The track truley is better than average, but not too good. Track still does not deserve to be put on vinyl. |

I strongly disagree. No ones 'jerking' off to this tune, credit where its due, i hear some pap on here & then i hear stuff like this. No doubt about it this has release potential! If you strongly think that then i start to wonder what you would class as release potential. Or rather i would like you to show examples of tunes on here which have no replies that are way better productions. Hopefully by production you mean musical aspect & not technical because imo a tight technical production doesnt mean a vinyl release ;)
But most of the comments ive read are very pickey in terms of production. I wish people would look at the musical aspect first. Or rather those that are critising that arent even a fan of the style of genre static has gone for!
I've said already ill be pledging it my full support in all my sets/guest mixes i have forthcoming & already helping him find a home for this amazing bit of work!
Keep it up pal :) |

yeah man compared to what's put on here on a regular basis... it is above average... the music is well compose and not one huge melody fest like the average track posted here... and the sounds are clean and you can hear them seperately from each other, unlike most tracks that get posted here where they all sound like ASOT rips... with their extreme compression.
Okay it's not the BEST track that has ever been posted here period, but it certainly does stand out from the crowd, and should be taken notice. If not being the big track in the DJ set, it certainly can be played in one... not all tracks have to be the monster anthems... come you guys use a little creativity in your DJing... maybe you could do something with this track in a set that would make it better than hearing it alone... I guess it really takes a DJ to appreciate a track like this... DJs hear how they can use it in their set... to create a certain mood, while the average consumer is just interested in how it sounds like by itself... maybe I'm right or I can be full of ... I dono.. any thoughts?
As far as serious facts go, any track can be released... There's no such track as "release potential" or not... if you don't believe me check out that AdamBomb thread... It all depends on the taste of the label... and what you can do for the label (yeah that probably explains the crappy tracks getting signed on labels). The only thing that helps you is having a good track and good production... that means more than one label will be intersted in your track, but labels are like girls... no matter how ugly you are, there's always that right chick for you... same with tracks and labels... however if you're a pretty sexy guy, you'll have the chicks competing over you. |

LOL... "huge melody fest"... Sometimes talent can be found in songs that don't really possess a melody - but a vibe that still paints the picture.
Those of us who don't have very good production skills end up trying out cheesy to experimental melodies trying to make a statement. |

seriously... and these huge melody fest songs are getting signed, but thankfully they edit out a lot of the melodies before the final release.
Alluding back to an older thread I made about melody fests over good production skills. The good producer can make an amazing track with just a kick and a bassline because he/she knows how to manipulate the spectrum into making that simple kick and bassline sound really phat, while the unseasoned producer has to resort to using more melodies and soudns to make the mix more busy and phat. |

Hi static :)
good track but what lacks in the beats is made up with the melodies and break. You gotta work on that whole beat thing dude...cool stuff tho.
