well i went to see wedding crashers last night but it was sold out so i went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.... it was actually really good, its 2 hours and 15 minutes but it doesn't drag at all. i had never seen the original so i did not know the story. the way they shot the movie and the whole story was really good and funny, its surreal but just enough to make it believable. johnny depp was really good even though he looked like a child molester. anybody else see it???
BTW... johnny depp's glasses are sick :eyes: |

i cannot believe you were originally planning to go see the wedding crashers. and furthermore, i cannot believe the wedding crashers was sold out and CATCF wasn't.
this is a sad state of the union :( |

| I went to go see wedding crashers last night also, everything for willy wonka in the city was pretty much sold out as well as wedding crashers, it was wierd the only place that wasnt sold out was the midnight showing at chelsea clearview, But the movie was awesome vince vaughn is the man haha and owen wilson never dissapoints, next feet of strength is seeing mr wonka on IMAX!!!!!!!!! |

What a freakin awesome movie. John and I were hyped bout this for 2 months and it didn't disappoint. Only thing that he was disappointed at was that there was no snozberry scene :p Otherwise, what a great part played by JOhnny Depp, a real sinister twist on Willy Wonka, and I liked the tie-ins to his childhood and why he loves candy so much. Charlie was played superbly as well. Overall all the children were great..

it was great. saw it yesterday and loved it.
its not quite the original, but i havent read the book so maybe its closer to that.
it added a lot more humor too, which i liked.
johnny depp was amazing, as usual. |
