(now that's manners for ya!)
Was gonna go, then wasn't gonna go (having just returned from a FULL day in Niagara Falls at 1am), then got convinced to go, & arrived at 2:30 am.... BOY WAS I GLAD! I think I woulda kicked myself for missing that set!! So surprised to see so many familiar faces, not to mention the tunes!!! :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: Loads of DuMonde stuff, Rank 1, Tiesto, etc... massive tunage!
Republik's main room was rammed, and on the 'sauna' side of things. Everyone who came up to hug & kiss me were DRENCHED!
De-Koze went on afterwards & was killing it too, but at 4:45 am decided it was time to call it quits.
I dont think this wonder-duo are going anywhere anytime soon.

| what a great party...Dumonde kicked trhe out of me....simply amazing...Shout outs to my fello TA's that I saw there, like always it was a pleasure partying with you. For you that were not there i hope yo ucaught the stream live on SJI radio. Time for bed now my ears are ringing...night to all |

first time for me at republik .. gotta say its a nice club.. the sound is great overall.. it seemd a bit muffled at the beginning but once dumonde came on it was goood. Great to see you nat, samhouse tully, flec, the_xtina, julie_sexor.. i mean spyder, swamper fayraree, dennis sergio? addicted to trance and others who i purposley neglected to mention

I think that was by far one of the greatest sets I have ever heard. Track after track of solid gold, Dumonde ripped it up. They hyped the crowed beyond belief, and who ever was controlling the lights knew just how to push the upper limits of eye candy!!! Very eargasmic night... will not be forgotten for a looooooooooong time :) |

It was my first night out all wknd and what a night twas....
Goldfinger and Walter Rosati opened beautifully and got the crowd on their toes and ready for the mainevent.
DUMONDE rocked some serious . What a great way to finish....for now ;)
Deko-ze stole my heart...he has a whole other side he's been hiding from me......The Trance he played took my breath away...Nice to hear an old time favourite "Matt Darey - Heaven's Earth"..its been a while.
Great to meet everyone and see a few familiar faces :)
What can I say...It was a great night out...AGAIN
Above and Beyond anyone???? :) |

wow was i impresssed with the whole republik package..I can see why many had so many high expectations of this club. Brilliant design (less than brilliant on the DJ Booth but hey its better than the guvy booth) all around with above average lighting and sound. The sound was low untill Dumonde came on and then we got to hear the system for what it was worth.
Major thumbs up to Brad Goldfinger for dropping Perfect Silence...was the perfect lead in to the DUmonde madness. And what madness...non stop these guys simply tore it up. Holy classic after classic Dumonde remix or track....we were all in heaven for 2 hours....TOP NOTCH STUFF and if you're reading this JamX and DeLeon.....PLZ FOR THE LOVE OF THIS MUSIC...DO NOT BE STRANGERS :) :) :) :) :)
Toronto Loves you as is evident by last nights packed sunday night house.
MAJOR SHOUTOUTS TO THE USUAL TA Crew...and my Boys of the FRC....never a party without any of you monkeys ;)
see ya'll at above and beyond...and for those in mississauga swing by square 1 and come say hi at the Richtree Marche on the 2nd floor...i'll be manning the Rosti station most days from now on :) :) :) |
