You apparently don't know too much about the scene around here do you...? But that goes without saying considering your ignorance towards the music...

i agree. ;)

when i first saw this, i said it looks cool and therefore it has some merit.

no one ever said that this would be replace DJing. first of all because no clubs would take this into a club but at a house party, hook that up.

First - Tygon you own; everything you've said so far was exactly what I was going to say. DJing is an artform, it's not easy. It takes talent and a LOT of hard work to get somewhere. *sigh* I've given up on trying to explain to everyone about DJing and how it's NOT just crossfading 2 songs together all the time.

Bang your head against the wall...that's all you do when trying to explain.

This iPod Numark morphed creation is IMO most likely not directed at professional DJ's. Obviously. However; it's like toy guns for kids. They can play with it and maybe feel like the real thing but of course would never be of any stature or have any real skill, save maybe putting together a decent tracklist that could have easily been done with Winamp.

It's a gimmick, nothing more.

Let's see Tiesto, Armin, PvD, Oakenfold, Sasha, Ferry, etc etc use this product. Think it'll happen? Let's just wait and see. Pretty sure the people who understand DJing in this forum already know the answer.

I'm beginning to hate the ignorance and immaturity of this board more and more on a daily basis. RJ has said it before as well as countless others too; where is the love, why can't we all just get along, etc etc.

A debate is one thing; all out flamming and trolling is another.

The comment you quoted wasn't directed at Jon Jon but more or less the ppl who think they know DJing but really have no idea.

Apologies.
