Shaving is one of those love-hate things. It's a pain in the ass to do every single day, but when one has a really good shave - the day just goes off without a hitch.

In search for the perfect shave - I've made a habbit of to trying new shaving products. Anything that makes a shave more enjoyable, more comfortable and more satisfying is worth sharing with my fellow TAs.

Although at the present time I have a beard - do not discount my evaluation of the following product...

I can easily say that I've tried 30+ brands, varieties of shaving products. I have used shaving gels, shaving lotions, shaving creams, shaving oils, shaving soaps and even shaving talcs! My adventures in shaving have taken me from non-name brands through to seemingly high-end cosmetics - all in search of the perfect shave.

The product below - based on my vast experience and knowledge - offers the most superior shave experience possible. From both a performance and cost perspective - Florena Rasiercreme (Shaving Cream) is -the- best shaving product I have ever used.

Florena Rasiercreme is made to the highest standards in Waldheim, Germany and is available at Shoppers Drug Mart, Wal-Mart and other such stores for ~$3.00 CAD$ per tube (it comes in a tooth-paste type of tube).

A half-inch squeeze of product is enough for the entire face and produces a rich, lubricating lather - gentle, protecting and moisturizing. Apply to the face and gently "buff" it until it's worked into the beard, then shave away.

IMO Florena Rasiercreme is the best shave medium on the market.

You'll thank me after you've tried it.

Test report
The physical care probably begins with everyone after rising with course in the bathroom, where one follows to its appropriate physical toilet. However extensively this may fail finally, at least the men do not have to usually settle a thing, which one can omit also times, finally however in extreme cases necessarily madly work. The speech is of the shave, which carry out the one with an electrical electric shaver, other one however the wet shave prefers.

For whatever one decides, stop is important at the end that one has a beautiful smooth skin and one works maintained.
For the wet shave I already since longer decided, not only, because it is more effective according to my opinion, but also because the appropriate implements such as razor, blade and creams are to be had nevertheless already quite favorably.
Sometimes at marks I already in such a way some tried out, above all also such, which appeared concerning the price quite attractive. One of it is the Florena which I use again and again gladly, because it is particularly careful straight also for the skin.

For example I procure the Shaving cream either in the city or but, if it should be more comfortable on-line. One gets it for example with Rossmann, where one receives her with chamomile and vitamin complex in the 100 ml packing for 0,89 euro.

- packing -:

The bluish tube from aluminum is in an oblong narrow box, which is marked with the necessary data again.
On the one hand this is both front and back the trademark Florena Men in blue type characters as well as on the right of beside it on blue the additive care with chamomile and vitamin complex. The product designation Shavingcreme in large white type characters goes likewise into action. The same appears as said also on the back however in English.

One gets additional important details concerning the contents contents of, the durability as well as to the manufacturer into English and Russian on the lateral edges. Besides multilingual short data are made concerning the skin compatibility. One finds comparable data in the rest of also on the tube.

- the cream -:

Which distinguishes the Shavingcreme as such is the fact that she emphasizes herself primarily by two contentwise components. This is on the one hand the vitamin the E as well as the moisturing Provitamin B5 finds. Thus the cream is suitable optimally for normal and sensitive skin, since this is maintained in the best way and protected.
The whole is supported then still by the fact that no preservatives are in it.

- contents materials -:

The rasiercreme contains in the individual following components such as Aqua, Potassium of palmitate, Potassium Stearate, Sorbitol, Potassium Cocoate, Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Parfum, Sodium of chloride, Sodium Silicate, Propylene Glycol, Chamomilla Recutita, Bisabolol, Panthenol, Tocopheryl of acetates, Sodium Stearate, Sodium of palmitate, Sodium Cocoate.

- durability -:

To keep the cream leaves itself about 2.5 years.

- manufacturers -:

Is manufactured the mad rasiercreme of the company Florena Cosmetic GmbH, 04734 forest home, which one can reach either by telephone under 034327/98 0 or under the Hotline 01805/356736 for 12 ct/Min. Who would like itself to however rather make smart in the InterNet, this can do, by one itself on the Web PAGE of the company under the URL
www florena.de goes.

- experience -:

As soon as one turned the small white plastic lid off at the tube, one does not even have to go greatly close with the nose to the Oeffung, in order to enjoy the extremely intensive smell of this cream and "inhalieren" to be able. The smell of chamomile is indescribably fresh and loads almost in to lay on beautifully much of it for the shave.

If one presses something out from the cream on the finger crest, one can recognize directly that it concerns with this beautiful seifige cream, whose consistency I would call good and which seems to make itself actually good on the skin.

This is finally also confirmed to one, if one laid the cream on on the face cheeks as well as at the chin and within the range of the oberlippe with a brush. One does not need even times much, in order to in-soap the mentioned portions beautifully.

When short on time I use this product with the Mach3 Turbo M3 Power(vibrating) razor.

I prefer however, to use the straight razor and take the time to shave proper.

Using either technique Florena is still the best product I have ever used.

Excellent.

A straight razor - you're a braver man than I.

I'm gonna talk to my best friend who lives down in NC now.

He just became a barber (just pasted a week or 2 ago all his exams and schooling and ), and last summer was recommending shaving products.

He was giving me tips and about techniques and quality products one can use.

I'm going to mention this product to him and also see what else he recommends. See if I can't get a few other -recommended- products that you might want to try your hand (face? ;)) at, RJ!

A mission, how fun! :D And I'm gonna go out and buy this product this week. I'm about done with my Nivea shaving gel (COMPLETE CRAP product! :whip: ) and I need to purchase my next! RJ, I'll give this a try! Thanks for the info/tip! :)

Jem.

Do you have any recommendations for body shaving products?

Lately, I've just been using my soap (Dove), but I'd be curious to hear yalls recommendations for those, too! :D

I can guarantee that the skin on your face is more sensitive than the skin on your body (unless your shaving your scrot).

IMO - anything that works good for the face, would work good for the body.

Stay away from the Nair on the body (a hellish experience with that stuff is all I have to say...).
