well i'm sure everyone's parents are different, but my mom is all up in my business and it annoys me. i have this hang up about having to "answer" to people. i hate it more than anything. i just like to do what i want, when i want, and no one has to know...and i hate when i'm out and my mom calls me and if i don't answer she'll keep calling me (some friends do that too). it's like CHRIST if i want to ing talk to u, i'll answer...if it's important tell me what it's about in the voicemail and then i'll determine if it's important... :stongue:
for some reason i've developed this bad habit of lying to my mom about where i am and who i'm with every single time i go out. actually, i know why. it's because growing up, she was more like a friend than a mother and we'd have these nasty arguments because she always threw her 2 cents in about how i should have been dealing with a boyfriend or a friend or some situation...
so now, at age 23 (finally), i've realized that i tell her entirely too much information about my personal life, so i've retracted back to this other way of dealing with it, which is to just lie about everything to her. hahahah it's kinda fun too, it puts my creativity to the test!:toothless |

i'm 21
i've just finished uni, and am going into management work for the next two years, but instead of living on my own, i plan on staying at home still to save up 500 pounds a month.
Then i plan on going to med school for 4 years after that.
my plan for the next 6-7 years is to invest the 12,500 pounds after two years whilst i'm at med school, and aim to double it in that time. i'll stay with my parents til i'm out (about 27) and it seems pretty ty, but it just means that by the time i'm out of school i'll have almost 40,000 pounds to actually BUY my own place, rather than rent, which i find pointless. on top of that i get all my food and done lol |

Please, like drugs ever stop me from eating...I know when my body is looking for something to eat regardless of how much party I do.

| 24 and still living at home with moms. Just finished college in spring of '04 and slowly paying back student loans and what not. Living at home isn't that bad since I get food/shelter etc. and can come and go as a I please, I'm old enough now that my mom doesn't need to ask where I'm going or what I'm doing as long as I make an appearance 3 days out of the week, which IMO isn't that bad. |

I'm planning to move out after my compulsory military service 2006-2007. I just don't have the urge to move out. Free food and accomodation. I don't work either so i'd have a really hard time supporting myself. |

ok...so now i took a decision...i'm going back to mexico
there i'll be for myself at my parents house they own there...but they'll stay here...i'll get in college there and take care of the house (actually a brother lives there but he's gonna marry with his fiancee in december...then he'll be kicked out)
i don't know if that could be called "live without parents" ? |

| Hell no! Not since I was 22. I like independence and privacy. Plus, I need a house to keep all my in :crazy: That said, housing here in LA is insanely expensive so I could understand why many would live with the family. I just can't imagine doing it. |
