I'm a little surprised to see that so many of you are still living with your parents, although it does explain a few things around here.

22, still home; although I'm craving for a 'home alone', I think I'm still good here

lived alone for about 2-3 months before i came crawling back to them..

Sure, having a bachelor pad is nice..but it takes a lot of cash to sustain urself(bills/food etc) +buddies + making dinners for dates..

why ? well i only live with mum now, dads been moved out, my bro's here but only for another few days b4 he goes back to canada to his gf then leeds to his university final year.

I like living here, i do a lot of the jobs, mum does her fair share too, works her ass off, she cooks me a lot of meals (Which she's good at) and I get a comfortable big place for now where I can relax, let the dog run riot and have space.

So many people in this country are struggling to find the money for their first house, you get ppl living with parents until 30 or so if they have to as the boom in the housing market has left it hard to get properties at affordable prices. I have my independance when i need it, she goes to my nans when i have ta bbq's and stuff, and we get no arguments as long as we're responsible over property. it's comofrtable and I get on with her so i don't see the problem in it. If i had a sig other then maybe it'd change but I don't, and dont see it happening in the near future.

No.
19.
but the funny thing is I live right in front of them, my dad got me my own place because I've always liked to be independent...I am in college, work & I pay it myself with no struggles...I'm actually happy this way.

:D

I'm 24, and still living with my parents, mainly because houses in Spain are really expensive and I can't afford moving to any other place. Me and my girlfriend are planning to do it as soon as we get some good (read stable and decent paid) jobs.
