Since I don't live in the same town (or even close) anymore, it would not be feasible to move back there even if I wanted to.

Ditto. After high school I swore that I would never again depend upon my parents for a place to stay. Not that I don't get along with them, but I decided that I was a big boy and that I could make it on my own in life.

I actually miss living at home at times, cause I cant cook worth , and every girl I've brought home is just as bad.

I do, but only on the weekends. I work in the capital of Hungary during the week, so we are looking forward to seeing each other on the weekends.

I bought her cook book. To be honest though, the only thing I can do properly is marinading and grilling. Oh ... and making spaghetti, I'm good at that.

I live at home and have for the past 3 months or so...I moved out for university but to make a long story short my parents disagreed with what I wanted to do with my life and took the money they'd alloted for university for me away, and coming back home and living seemed the best option... Now I'm just trying to find some work, fix some substance abuse problems I've been having, and save up to go back to school.

I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with it, but I don't really enjoy living here that much -- me and my whole family are not on great terms, but I think they'd rather not see me homeless.

edit: I'm 20 btw

My parents actually want me to live with them. No thanks I say. I like stumbling home 4 in the morning smelling of booze and cigarettes without having to answer questions. And I saved a lot of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico.

I think staying at home and mooching off your parents is extremely overrated…seriously. Screw that, “oh stay there as long as you can bla bla bla” mentality. Who wouldn’t want to have independence? You can be your own boss and pay your own bills and have your friends over whenever the F u want, and leave dirty dishes in the sink because you simply didn’t feel like doing them…SIGN ME UP! haha

i can do all that with out paying bills.

yeah still living at home. its not so bad i guess, no curfew, they give me cash if i need it, no bills, the "magic laundry". i don't really spend that much time at home though, i work up in LA (about 45 mins away) 3 days week, go to school 4 days a week, and party up in LA for the weekends. so my house is more like a free hotel...a free hotel with my turntables :D

but yes i plan on moving out after i graduate and get a real job
