I just think mental illnesses are a sign of weakness…people need to learn to get a grip and not dwell on negative aspects of their pasts as an excuse for the present. I’m not talking about chemical imbalances that are out of your control either…i know that is a diff story..
I’m talking about people like, “oh my life sucks I’m depressed, my mom didn’t give me enough attention, my dad was an alcoholic WAAHHHH!”
Everyone does drugs or had some sort of f’d up childhood and no one is willing to take responsibility for their actions, but rather blame everyone else.
you are in control of your mind...i really believe that.
and no estella, i'm not normal:p |

How patently wrong and unedcuated you are on mental disroders....most, if not all, of ADD, Depression and people with Anxiety disroders have a chemical inbalance, even people that are OCD...from Serotonin, Dopamine, etc etc...
People do not want to feel this way.....untill you have walked the shoes of someone who lives in constant fear of living should you post such nonsense. |

More like the people you claim to be stronger were never really depressed or had a real disorder.....how can you honestly sit there and bad mouth people who have something PHYSICALLY wrong with them? Do you walk up to retarded people and smack them in face and say "snap out of it"?...
Then again i am happy there are ignorant people like yourself...we need people to work the McDonald's drive-thru. |

This only proves that Sly hit your sore spot thus revealing Tiesto, that you are a catastrophe on legs, a walking headcase. And Sly is just a bitter, coldhearted narcisistic bitch child. And me? |

No...i actually dont have anxiety attacks anymore like i used to...i changed my diet and started a serious workout program to help me...which it did...i still get them time to time but not often. And yes diet and exercise can alter brain chemicals.
I just have friends who are bipolar, agoraphobics and the such and i see how hard it for them....i also had a friend who hung himself (he was manic depressive) after being in a hospital and on several meds...nothing worked and he could not spend a second living anymore cus of his depression...and he had a great family, great job and everything was going right for him...he simply had a disease of the mind for no reason that he just did not win. |

| Jamie, it's hard to understand, and I know you do to a certain extent, so i'm not going to slag you off or anything, but I've found that to truly understand these conditions, you have to have them, When you're faced with these obstacles, it seems a hell of a lot worse :( |

Yes, I understand. Don't take me seriously. We are all castastrophes on legs. Group hug. |
