| In one of my classes we were talking about this project that a professor gave his students one time. Every time someone asked them how they were doing, they had to say something like "Actually, really ty...my car died today...blah blah blah". I thought it was a pretty cool little test. It's totally true, one of the most common questions people ask is "How are you?" and almost everybody say "Great, how are you?" or something along those lines, regardless of how they're actually feeling. |

I believe it was Dane Cook who once did a skit about this sort of thing, where if somebody asks you how you're doing, and you're like "Good" and they say "Great!"
They always upgrade you. How are you? Awesome! FANTASTIC! |
