Ok let's assume that the others are like you too, which is a pretty safe bet, if you don't like these tunes, why do you post in these/this thread about AvB, if you don't like it, post somewhere where you do like it.
Before you come out with 'but Armin used to play better' - well he plays what he plays today!! - like it, fine, but if not accept this fact and tracklist that he does play and go elsewhere and listen/post about what you do like.
But we can't stop here - next argument will be that it's a free forum and people can dis anyone when they feel like it... (heard it all before). And we're at the beginning again... |

im not aware that i was slagging anyone of i never said that armin used to be better either im giving my opinion that i dont like him.
U seem to have a problem accepting other peoples opinions. |

that's the thing... stylewise, armin is very close to what i normally listen to (see profile). i wouldn't have given the night a chance otherwise; my tastes haven't changed *that* much over the past few years so its not like i've 'grown out' of his old sound either. i actually want to be able to like him, but he has an irritating habit of picking alot of tunes out the arse end of the trance spectrum & creating mediocre sets out of them. there just seems to be a lack of effort on his part nowadays & it shows.. which is what narks me & warrants me voicing my opinion. it's not as if i'm a prog fan coming into a trance topic & slagging off the whole music style

i can kinda guess what your response will be to this so prolly best just calling it a day |

I won't say I can guess his tracklist before hand, but generally
you know what style/songs to expect, that's why I go see him,
because unlike you I like these songs.
It's a case with any DJ - well most atleast.
So my argument is you can't go to one thing you know what it'll be like and expect another... save yourself the trouble. |

the only reason this thread has turned into pages of argueing is cose u didnt like someone elses opinions and started argueing with them everyone has the right to post what ever they want. |

Of course you would think so, but you're dodging the real issue,
you say that everyone has the right to post whatever they want,
but when their postings start with insults I say that right ends
right there, and problem is that this isn't about this thread,
but every other - especially the ones in Music Discussions where you can quarrel 24/7
I just wish I'd be able to come here and say I like something
without having 10 wisecracks jump in saying how it sucks... especially when I don't do that in their threads. |
