That's YOUR opinion, false but still.
Are you bitter that other people can enjoy things you can't ?
Tsk tsk...
Are you jealous of Armin that people will pay to come see him play and not you ?
Tsk tsk...

I'm not jealous that countless gimps come to see me play the same old boring songs week in week out, I'm jealous that he has made a nice bit of money from it, but isn't everyone? And um, why the hell would I be bitter that people can enjoy things that I don't? I'm not some sort of wannabe trance scene kid (well I assume you aren't a kid, but you act like one on here) like you.

Say no more, punk sucks, period.

You are a hypocrite. You say I'm bitter for not liking trance when you do. But then you say "punk sucks" without the slightest bit of reasoning. You're stupid.

Pure hear-say, it's only true that he doesn't have any instrument education + I really doubt someone asked him to play on a piano
for them, did this person have a piano with them at time ?
I certainly don't know of many clubs/venues that holds one.
Anyway, only Armin could answer this.

Ummm, it's not hear-say, it's known that he doesnt play any instruments. Oh my, don't you realise mate, that Armin doesn't only see any fans of his at "clubs/venues", he's had meetups with quite a few TA's as far as I know among other meetings with fans probably (but I wouldn't know about that), and it's not like a piano or keyboard is a very uncommon instrument is it? They're everywhere mate.

He isn't in it for the money, but by your logic then all musicians are. Can't win with you - can you?
Easy job ? Apparently not since he's got such an awesome critics as you to always keep him working on it.
Maybe us minions have a taste in music, and you punk don't.

To be fair most charting groups or "acts" as they seem to get called now, are in fact in it for the money, and fame and celebrity. There is however many many musicians, bands, etc that do make music for fun, for expression of emotion etc.. for example people like Conor Oberst aka "Bright Eyes" is still signed to the independant label Saddle Creek even though he's had considerable chart success just because he doesn't want to be involved with a major label where all the money is.

Oh and yes, people might say things like they have longe plane flights, working at night, going deaf and things like that, but who gives a for upwards of £20k a gig? I'd call that an easy job to be honest, and I doubt he'd really care about his opinion, after all he's the one with the success and not me right?

And to finish, I'm not a punk, I didn't say I was a punk. I said that I was a fan of punk, and other things, ie "etc etc" so don't generalise about what you don't know.

I wouldn't think you'd think otherwise, I'm in no cult, I'm simple fan who made a post about coming to party so I could discuss it with others but you no-life-freak had to come over to start your lame attacks on the thread.
And jumping off a tall building would be really doing you a favor now wouldn't it ? Not in this lifetime pal.

As far as I know you don't need an invitation to join the 'trance scene' therefore I don't have to act like a wannabe but simply be into trance! Same old boring songs as you call them happen to be good songs for some people and many enjoy them much more than some songs you'd care to name.
What's someone financial state got to do wether you like the music they play or not ? I don't care if Michael Jackson made 400 million dollars nor that he's a presumed child molestor, but I'll still enjoy some of his songs from time to time.

You compared rocks to gold, what do you expect ?
If you're into discussion about punk go to punk forums.
Really stupid comparison if you ask me.

Ok as far as I know he gets paid to play or spin 2 vinyl turntables, or juggle 2 CDJs, playing an instrument is not in his CV.
I know you're insinuating that this might influence on his productions, but I disagree, after all it's not called EDM without a reason, he's making his musicusing electronic devices.

That's great for them, and I wish them plenty of spiritual nirvana, but that's not for me, and unless they'll have club music out that actually gets played in a club, I probably won't care much for them.
It's well known fact how many (or should I say how little) vinyls are sold in EDM and it goes pretty much for CDMs too, so all the charts etc. won't make a difference to ones banking account.
Real money is in compilations - an acclaimed DJ told me this.
And since Armin has made many, I'd say 'lightly' that he's not in it for the money anymore, but which musician wouldn't like to have music support him through his life so that they can keep creating...
I am willing to bet daytime jobs have a creative downside for your not-in-it-for-the-money favorites.

I agree, it's not as hard as some jobs that us mortals have to go through, but we live in a free society, and if someone is talented enough to pull off something like that it means they stand out from the crowd and that they deserve it.
If we'd take that right away then we'd take away our own chances of success from the get go.

You certainly don't seem to be a fan of EDM to me, that's all I need to know on this forum. Good luck with your other ventures.

I didnt say you'd be doing me a favour. I said you'd be doing yourself a favour. By that I mean your body probably is crying out to be killed having to put up with the brain that you have. You cant hear it though, because you are in a state of trance.

Just out of interest, has Armin ever done anything that you've been critical of?

Sorry I dont understand what this means or what its supposed to mean. Quite glad really. I feel like i'm losing brain cells every time I respond to you. Anyway, no one wants to come to your 'party' and thats the point of the thread, you've got the response so off now.

Fair question, yes of course.
But I don't bother myself with one Armin van Buuren although you might think so.
I prefer to focus on the music, and YES I actually like it.

You misunderstand me, I'm not talking about being critcal of Armin the person.

What I meant was have you ever thought a track he has dropped in a set or one that he has produced has been gutter?
