I could name you few songs that I don't like hearing, for starters that remix of Nirvana, and Police - SOS, Rank 1 - Top Gear, but in few hours set that will boil down to couple of % of total, and if in club there's other things to do than just listen to music, ie. take a drink, meet a girl, so you can choose to miss those few...
In general the songs you hear on ASOT is the type of music I like. |

It doesn't matter how many know or don't know about TA, I could just as easily direct you to GK forums, or UKTA forums, the fact remains that your fellows are going to the party which mean they must like it, hence you're spitting on your own kind.

hehe this thread is funny
the piano thing isn't hearsay. Toufas off this board interviewed him (it's filmed, available for download somewhere) and got him to demonstrate some harmonic mixing theory while off air, using a piano (showing which keys go well with others etc).. and he couldn't play his own track when asked
either way though it's irrelevant really
fresh prince, i think the slander in your direction is less because you like armin, but more because you seem to worship every single move he makes, almost to an obsessive level. 'Armin Spectacular' and 'Location: Arminsworld' in your profile for instance, as well as having him in your avatar for ages & defending him in over 50% of your posts here. i think he's kinda sucky but i can't really talk since i enjoy tiesto. the difference being, i don't bang on about tjis all the time and treat him like some sort of demigod; i'll even freely admit that he's an arrogant **** who's mostly in it for the money, and that even i can probably mix better than him. so when people say he sucks i'm not really bothered about it & don't go to extreme lengths to defend him, since it's only taste after all. |

I have that video - and it's not shown in it.
But if it's as you say off air then it's still hear-say.
1. I don't worship every move he makes, infact I dissent some of the moves by his management.
2. Armin Spectacular - was the 1st time I was at an Armin party, it was on august 16th 2003 at club XL in Amsterdam, the night was called guess what? Armin Spectacular! He played for 6h and had the percussionist and it was in general an awesome party.
Made me take big interest into music he's playing.. the rest is history.
3. ArminsWorld - refers to my website: http://www.arminsworld.com
4. Avatars etc. can be freely chosen, so I choose what I like. |

Toufas himself said what happened, i can specifically remember the thread. i wouldn't call that hearsay?

I can vouch for ya FP!
Being, dare I say, a long standing member of the AVB forum mmyself I can honestly say I really believe Milan gives a fair and subjective view of what he hears/see of Armin! IMHO there really is nothing wrong with being such a dedicated fan and sticking to your guns! Why not travel to see Armin if he doesn't visit your country? If it makes you happy then do it!
My opinion of Armin's sets has been mixed lately and I have to say I have been disappointed but I still believe his 9 hr sets have been and will be amazing!
I do have an open mind hen it comes to trance so please don't tar me with the 'Armin whore' brush! I just wanted to pass comment here because like his taste in music or not Milan is a sound and intelligent guy!
