Calling Nad, Onkyo and Acoustic Research cheap and bad is as dumb as calling Logitech good and reference.
The connectors alone for my interconnects are woth 80 bucks

Connectors have volume? Never heard of that. Aand once again you fail to tell us the pathetic system you're running off of your computer. Just give it a rest. You will never equal 900W no matter what you lie about.
While you're at it jdat, go find something worth the while to hook up to your computer with outrageous volume first, and quality second....It's commonly referred to as bang for the buck.

A wee bit expensive, but worth it as they're the only earphones ive had that last more than 3 months. They cause a vacuum in your ear that cuts out all the background noise, hence the danger with crossing roads.

You need to isolate the problem with the noise distortion. Either try out the earphones on an MD that you know is OK, or borrow some tried and tested headphones and see if they work on your MD. THen you'll know where the problem is. |
