I thought you were a bit more hardcore trancers than that. Yet you all go for the commercial (rapture is not even trance!!) and for urban train which while a very good track was not even close as good as Flight 643. Or can you give the tranceaddict award to Innocente another house track! OK amazing, I love it but it's house. It's 124BPM for f... sake I heard it played by tiesto among other normal trance tunes and it was as if the smurfs were singing or something. lol
Anyway so be it. I would go for Three drives on Ibiza for best melody but I will go for Exhale for Overall performance. |

Totally agree........Urban Train is alright but it's not all that......I think ppl just like Tiesto instead of the track. I vote for Rapture too.......cos it's just one of the best popular track this year
I would love to vote for couple more coz Exhale and Massive are also very good |

I voted for Rapture based upon it's ability to have so much staying power throughout the year... House DJs.. Trance DJs.. etc all played it, and not for 1 month or 2 months..but for many months... Now that it's pretty much 'played out' so to speak a lot of ppl don't think as highly of the track as they once did...
Otherwise Urban Train is also very high on my list from there... Innocente as well :D |

yes i thought urban train was top 5 on the year, but not the best. however, the best of all the tracks up there. rapture ISNT trance, correct, and i didnt/dont even think that much of it!
the melody is so simple the first time i heard it i thought it was ripped off from somewhere...
if you're gonna say it has staying power w/ house and trance djs we were idiots to omit ORINOKO - ISLAND

Well since these are all top quality choices, I had a hard time voting, I almost went for Urban Train, but I decided the TA Track of the Year should go to something that has REALLY done it for me... and the Riva remix of Iio Rapture did just that... LOVE that song, it's classic already in my book.

I was planning to vote for Urban Train, but when I saw how few votes Souvenir de Chine had, I voted for that one instead. These two tunes are almost equally good IMO.
